Associate General Counsel

Job Description

Seeking a seasoned legal expert to champion corporate development at Altais. This role involves providing legal guidance for mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures. Act as the primary legal contact for employment matters, oversee the drafting and negotiation of contracts with vendors and commercial partners. Lead litigation and manage dispute resolution efforts. Serve as a reliable legal advisor to senior leadership.

Qualifications

1. Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. 2. Extensive progressive legal experience. 3. Demonstrated expertise in corporate transactions, employment law, commercial contracting, and litigation management. 4. Proven ability to advise senior leaders and manage complex, high-risk legal matters. 5. Prior in-house experience and experience managing outside counsel strongly preferred. 6. Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (California preferred or ability to obtain).
