Job Description
Take ownership of the Solutions client experience, guiding it from initial exploration to final delivery. Spearhead discovery sessions with potential and current clients to pinpoint the fundamental questions, establish clear success metrics, and convert investment concepts into actionable deliverables and timelines. Set transparent expectations regarding scope, feasibility, methodology, and potential trade-offs, ensuring all deadlines are met consistently. Collaborate with the Revenue team to foster growth within Solutions, focusing on both commercial aspects and effective scoping. Enhance client interactions by clearly demonstrating the value of Solutions, highlighting technical expertise, access to an extensive on-demand library, and unique proprietary infrastructure. Aid in structuring and defining the scope of engagements across various commercial models, including ad hoc credit-based projects and dedicated full partnership resourcing. Lead a high-performing delivery team, managing, mentoring, and developing a team of data and insights analysts to execute both incoming and recurring projects effectively. Set rigorous standards for analytical accuracy, reproducibility, and the delivery of client-ready outputs, ensuring clear narratives, well-defined assumptions, and defensible methodologies. Deliver customized outputs utilizing the comprehensive YipitData library, guiding clients through a wide array of dataset types, such as email receipt panels, transaction data, software spending, web traffic, app data, web-scraped data, connected accounts, healthcare purchasing, and targeted interviews. Oversee the delivery of both one-time deep dives and ongoing data feeds, including market share analyses, targeted interviews, custom scrapers, and recurring deliveries tailored to client specifications. Develop the operating system for Solutions, defining best practices for intake, scoping, project management, quality assurance, and reuse through templates, playbooks, and repeatable pipelines. Enhance capacity planning, prioritization, and visibility across the Solutions pipeline, leveraging AI to expand Solutions delivery and boost capacity. Identify and implement AI-driven workflows, such as assisted scoping, rapid data quality assurance, automated recurring deliverables, and narrative drafting, to improve turnaround times, ensure consistency, and increase team throughput while upholding high quality standards. Create reusable, AI-assisted solution kits and automation for repeatable tasks, developing templates, playbooks, and lightweight automation tools like prompt libraries, reusable code modules, and standardized pipelines to minimize manual effort and enable analysts to handle more projects without compromising accuracy or client satisfaction.
Qualifications
1. Possess over 5 years of experience leveraging alternative data to address significant inquiries, complemented by 1–2 years in a leadership role or demonstrated experience in guiding teams and projects. 2. Proven ability to engage directly with end clients, consistently identifying the core needs driving their requests. 3. Experienced in and enthusiastic about employing AI to refine ETL processes, data pipelines, and analytical workflows. 4. Proficient in SQL and Python, with a background in developing and maintaining production-grade workflows, familiarity with Databricks, Spark, and GitHub is advantageous. 5. Extensive experience handling large, complex, and evolving datasets, particularly those with changing definitions and taxonomies. 6. Strong commercial acumen, capable of partnering with Revenue teams to cleanly define project scopes and ensure excellent, repeatable client experiences. 7. Ideally, have prior exposure to institutional investor workflows and stakeholders, including fundamental analysts and data teams.
