Associate Director, Market Research Consultant
Job Description
The Market Research Consultant will be responsible for all market research and business analyses for assigned brands/TAs. This includes: 1. Identifying market research (MR) needs for the business (immediate and multi-year planning). 2. Developing MR plans leveraging appropriate research methodologies to fill those needs. 3. Designing, executing, and interpreting MR studies, and clearly communicating insights and recommendations. 4. Serving as the subject matter expert on past, current, and potential insights needed for the product/project. 5. Analyzing & reporting syndicated, secondary market data for performance measurement and market understanding. 6. Utilizing a full spectrum of survey insights and syndicated data to answer complex business questions, compiling insights from multiple data sources, creating presentations, and delivering them confidently. 7. Supporting/guiding analytical business questions for projects run by other A&I colleagues. 8. Working with vendors to ensure project alignment with business objectives, maximizing insights, and adhering to regulatory requirements. 9. Managing work within budget and completing necessary paperwork. 10. Coordinating/collaborating with Analytics & Insights co-workers to deliver unified support for Marketing clients and senior leadership. 11. Leading without authority in a complex organization. 12. Quickly demonstrating product, customer, and performance knowledge and actively participating in planning sessions, influencing marketing plans, strategies, and tactics.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree required 2. Minimum 10 years in market research within a large product marketing corporation, generating and presenting market research insights. 3. Minimum 10 years supporting pharmaceutical brand marketing research. 4. In-depth knowledge of qualitative and quantitative market research techniques. 5. Demonstrated experience managing the regulatory and ethical requirements of pharmaceutical market research & data protection. 6. Experience exploring cardiology and primary care specialist marketing cardiac and/or diabetic conditions preferred. 7. High-level skills with Microsoft Office (PPT, Outlook, Word, Excel). 8.
