Associate Director – Global Scientific Training, Medical Affairs, Oncology
Job Description
Join V&I and be part of a science-driven, patient-committed mission. This role involves staying updated on key GST initiatives and collaborating to ensure alignment across the organization. Utilize your expertise and business insight to develop and implement scientific training programs. Partner with Research & Development to identify operational efficiencies and work with various teams, including CSEE Skills and Capabilities, Medical Affairs Strategy, Global Scientific & Value Content (GSVC), and Regional Field Medical (FM). Translate global medical objectives into scientific training goals. Gather input from stakeholders to craft annual training plans aligned with the V&I plan, and integrate metrics to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
Qualifications
1. Minimum of PharmD/PhD/MD/DNP with at least one year of Medical Affairs, clinical practice, or learning and development experience. 2. OR, a BS degree in pharmacy, MSN, or MS in life sciences, with at least five years of relevant experience. 3. OR, a BS degree in nursing or life sciences, with at least seven years of experience in Medical Affairs, clinical practice, or pharmaceutical learning and development. 4. Expertise in subject matter, project, and vendor management. 5. Familiarity with systems like Veeva, SharePoint, and Axonify Discover for managing training materials. 6. Relevant experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical sector. 7. Ability to work effectively in a complex, team-oriented global environment. 8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 9. Proven ability to work in a matrix environment with strong networking and cross-functional skills. 10. Experience in developing and implementing training programs. 11. Understanding of adult learning principles. 12. Demonstrated project management skills. 13. Proven decision-making abilities. 14. Self-motivated with a solution-oriented approach. 15. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
