Associate Director – Cybersecurity Posture, Hygiene and AI

Job Description

Lead the charge in establishing a mature security strategy for AI and machine learning technologies. Build and manage a dedicated team focused on implementing and improving CIS Top 18 critical controls. Develop and implement strategies for continuous security monitoring and enhancement. Ensure security configurations are maintained through robust policies and procedures. Collaborate with IT and network departments to align security measures with organizational objectives and compliance. Maintain thorough documentation on security controls, assessments, and incident responses. Regularly assess the maturity of security controls. Build strong relationships with technology stakeholders. Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and technologies. Lead initiatives to train team members on cybersecurity best practices. Oversee daily operations, including targeted assessments and risk management.

Qualifications

1. A bachelor's degree with 9+ years of experience, OR a master's degree with 8+ years, OR a Ph.D. with 4+ years of experience. 2. Proven leadership in cybersecurity. 3. Extensive experience in managing security posture and hygiene strategies. 4. Experience implementing an AI security program across an enterprise. 5. Expert knowledge of operating systems, networking, systems administration, XaaS, applications, and security technologies. 6. Expert knowledge and application of cybersecurity terminology, concepts, and the cyber threat landscape. 7. Deep understanding of risk management principles. 8. Experience with CIS Top 18 controls and Implementation Groups methodology. 9. Demonstrated ability to innovate and adapt. 10. Advanced critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills. 11. Strong leadership and collaboration skills. 12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
