Job Description
Join UAMS as an Assistant Director of Programs, leading community health research projects. Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, applied social science, anthropology, sociology, healthcare administration, or a related field plus five (5) years of project management or coordination level experience, including at least one (1) year of supervisory experience. 2. Valid AR driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and a reliable car for moderate travel (mileage reimbursed). 3. Occasional out-of-state travel required. 4. Proven ability to oversee complex, multi-faceted projects with multiple teams and stakeholders. 5. Experience in developing and executing strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals. 6. Familiarity with performance measurement and the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights. 7. Demonstrated ability to build relationships, collaborate effectively, and communicate with diverse constituencies. 8. Experience supervising and mentoring team members to achieve program objectives. 9. High level of ethical sensitivity, confidentiality, and discretion in handling complex projects. 10. Superior written and oral communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and diplomatically. 11. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with strong problem-solving abilities. 12. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and exceptional oral and written communication skills. 13. Ability to work independently and collaboratively under deadline pressure.
