Application Support Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to provide technical assistance for our enterprise-level application systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Promptly addressing general inquiries and troubleshooting tickets. - Proactively researching, diagnosing, and identifying potential solutions. - Determining the root causes of application errors and escalating critical issues. - Documenting processes and monitoring application performance metrics to ensure optimal functionality.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess: 1. A bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related field. 2. Prior experience as an application support engineer. 3. Demonstrated experience supporting Java applications. 4. Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, JVM, JMeter, JBoss, Spring Integration, Linux, Microservices, SQL, Incident Management, and SRE. 5. Proficiency in Application Performance Management and shell scripting, with basic Java coding skills. 6. Experience with DevOps is advantageous. 7. Willingness to work on a shift schedule.
