Android Framework Architect

Job Description

We are seeking an Android Framework Architect to design optimal platform architecture for customer products. This role involves collaborating with the Platform architecture team to evaluate and drive optimal solutions. You will be responsible for designing and developing Android-based e-Cockpit solutions, addressing diverse architecture topics across the entire platform at the Android level. Key responsibilities include communication with internal stakeholders and within the architect team.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience in Android Framework architecture. 2. Strong understanding of domains like Audio, Camera, Display, and other subsystems. 3. Understanding of the full Android stack, including the Linux kernel and Android debugging. 4. Experience working in hypervisor-based multi-VM solutions with communication and dependencies between Virtual Machines. 5. Hands-on development experience in Android native services or Linux user space. 6. Strong knowledge of C/C++. 7. Good analytical and communication skills. 8. Ability to defend solutions in architectural discussions. 9. Fluent in English. 10. Open to working across various time zones, especially the US East Coast (+6h). 11. Experience in Automotive projects across the entire lifecycle. 12. Experience in hypervisor configuration, shared device drivers development using virtio, Linux drivers, Android BSP, Device Tree configuration, and RTOS development.
