Analytics Engineer

Job Description

Join BlueThrone as an Analytics Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping data-driven decisions. You will be in charge of data models to scale our portfolio, turning ambiguous questions into actionable insights for mobile app performance. Work with product, monetization, and finance teams to design and maintain our dbt project on BigQuery. Develop Metabase dashboards that empower non-technical teams. Monitor dbt runs, troubleshoot failures, and communicate findings to stakeholders, ensuring data integrity and impact.

Qualifications

1. 5+ years of hands-on analytics engineering or a senior analyst role with strong SQL and modeling experience. 2. Strong SQL proficiency and experience with a cloud data warehouse (BigQuery preferred; Snowflake or Redshift acceptable). 3. 2+ years of production dbt experience, including building and maintaining dimensional models and creating tests. 4. Proven track record of building dashboards for non-technical stakeholders. 5. Genuine curiosity about data and ability to quickly learn new business domains. 6. Clear and concise communication skills.
