Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Information Security Analyst to: Monitor and perform initial triage of security alerts. Conduct basic analysis of events and evaluation of records under supervision. Assist in identifying, registering, and tracking vulnerabilities. Execute operational security controls defined by the area. Document incidents, findings, and security activities. Escalate relevant events to the senior team in a timely manner. Participate in initiatives to strengthen the security posture.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have: 1. A degree in Systems Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related fields. 2. 2 years of experience in technology, support, infrastructure, or security areas. 3. Knowledge in information security. 4. Fundamentals of security-oriented networks: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, VPN, firewalls. 5. Basic administration of Windows and Linux systems with a focus on security (users, permissions, basic hardening). 6. Principles of information security: confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA), access and log management. 7. Ability to read and interpret security records and events. 8. Basic concepts of security monitoring (SIEM, event evaluation, alert management). 9. Notions of common vulnerabilities and threats (OWASP Top 10, CVE). 10. Basic command-line handling (Bash or PowerShell). 11. Introductory knowledge in security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls) (desirable).
