Amazon Connect/LEX Engineer, Bedrock

Job Description

Join our team as an Amazon Connect/LEX Engineer, where you'll be instrumental in designing and implementing advanced AWS contact center solutions. This role involves coordinating release planning, development, and testing of IVR enhancements, as well as building call flow designs with API integration to backend systems. You'll manage NICE BU, provide routing design, and collaborate with the architecture team to develop and deploy APIs. Providing technical support, troubleshooting scripting issues, and coordinating issue resolution across tech teams are also key responsibilities. You will also oversee support questions from other team members and review support tickets.

Qualifications

1. Requires 4+ years of hands-on experience in designing and building Amazon Connect contact flows using DynamoDB, Lambda, and Lex Bots. 2. Proven expertise in Amazon Connect, including portal widget integration, CRM integration, chatbot development, email, and SMS solutions. 3. Strong understanding of call routing design, including routing profiles, queues, callbacks, emergency messaging, and dynamic business hours/holiday routing. 4. Skilled in building AWS Lambda-based custom logic for enhancing contact center operations. 5. Proficiency in Python, Node.js, or Java with AWS Lambda API integration. 6. Familiarity with version control tools such as GIT, GitHub, and TFS. 7. Experience with CI/CD tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or GoCD. 8. Exceptional problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting abilities. 9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. 10. Bonus points for experience in contact center environments like Genesys, Avaya, and Cisco.
