Job Description

QIMA is seeking an Agriculture Standards Auditor to conduct food safety inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with QIMA/WQS and scheme owner regulations. This role involves developing detailed inspection and audit reports within specified timeframes, summarizing and evaluating findings, and communicating results to client representatives. The auditor will also create effective audit plans for completing assigned inspections and audits efficiently. This is a contractor position focused on upholding agricultural and food safety standards through thorough auditing practices.

Qualifications

1. Possess an agricultural/crop-based, food-related subject qualification with a minimum duration of 2 years. 2. Have 5 years of work experience, with at least 3 years in the agricultural sector. 3. Familiarity with GLOBALG.A.P. and PGFS schemes. 4. Desirable: Completion of a 16-hour or 2-day HACCP course based on Codex, a Lead Auditor Course (ISO 9001 or ISO 22000) of one week/40 hours, and Food Hygiene Training (min. 8 hours) covering site management, water, fertilizer, equipment, facilities, personal hygiene, and practical case studies (FSMA Produce Safety Rule training).
