Advanced Associate, Sales – APAC
Job Description
The Sales Associate role involves managing assigned task queues and administrative workflows with precision and minimal supervision. Key responsibilities include preparing quotes, proposals, order forms, and supporting documents for Business Development Managers (BDMs). The role requires coordinating the scheduling of meetings, demonstrations, and training sessions across multiple time zones. Maintaining organized records, files, and reports aligned with internal systems and sales best practices is crucial. Supporting conferences, webinars, and regional sales activities with logistics and materials is also a key aspect. Conducting targeted outbound outreach to warm leads and responding to inbound inquiries using approved communication strategies is essential. Qualifying Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and passing warm opportunities to BDMs in a timely manner. Consistently following up on active opportunities and maintaining clear next-step tracking is necessary. Providing clear, accurate product information on defined offerings and escalating complex queries appropriately is required. Maintaining clean, accurate Salesforce records is vital, along with logging all outreach, follow-ups, meeting notes, and customer sentiment. The role also involves supporting forecasting and pipeline reports to assist BDMs with planning. Reducing repeated errors through fast learning cycles and improved attention to detail is important. The role also offers guidance on straightforward product offerings, including standard demonstrations and onboarding support where required. Assisting customers with basic troubleshooting or platform navigation before escalating issues is another key responsibility. Close collaboration with BDMs to support opportunity progression and close gaps in the sales process is necessary. Participation in team calls, sharing insights, and proactively offering help during peak periods is also part of the role. Providing backup coverage for colleagues when absent and modeling company values in all interactions while upholding high professional standards are also expected.
Qualifications
1. At least 1-2 years of experience in Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, and Client Relationship roles. 2. Open to candidates located in the APAC/Australia region. 3. Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Bahasa is advantageous.
