Accounts Payable Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to oversee our invoice and payment processing. This role involves managing the Accounts Payable Specialist, preparing forms for foreign invoices, and reviewing invoices for accuracy. You will also reconcile vendor accounts, manage vendor relations, and review disbursements for compliance. This position requires assisting with maintaining payables policies, preparing audit documentation, and coding expenditures. Additionally, you will process employee reimbursements, manage vendor records, and lead payment processing, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and procurement processes. The Accounts Payable Manager will serve as a backup to the Accounts Payable Specialist, implement internal controls, and lead projects to improve efficiency. Collaboration with the Corporate Controller and Treasury Manager is essential for cash funding of electronic payments.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration or equivalent work experience. 2. A minimum of 5-7 years of related and progressively responsible experience. 3. Intermediate Excel skills to include VLookups and Pivot Tables. 4. Strong understanding of accounting practices and GAAP. 5. Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and resolve variances. 6. ERP financial software experience preferred, NetSuite experience a plus. 7. Experience in a complex and multinational organization. 8. Strong leadership and excellent organizational skills. 9. Strong written and interpersonal communication skills. 10. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. 11. Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and external parties from a variety of backgrounds. 12.
