Accounting Specialist, AP/AR Experience
Job Description
Seeking an Accounting Specialist with experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) to ensure accurate financial transactions. Responsibilities include: Accounts Receivable (AR): 1. Generate and send invoices to clients promptly. 2. Monitor incoming payments and follow up on outstanding balances. 3. Reconcile accounts and resolve billing discrepancies. 4. Maintain accurate records of receivables transactions. Accounts Payable (AP): 1. Process and verify vendor invoices and payments. 2. Ensure timely payment of bills and expenses. 3. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies. 4. Maintain organized records of payables and supporting documents. General Accounting: 1. Manage and maintain financial data using QuickBooks. 2. Perform regular bank and account reconciliations. 3. Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes. 4. Prepare basic financial reports as needed. 5. Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
Qualifications
1. Must have a 4-year course graduate or a Bachelor’s degree. 2. Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) is a must. 3. Exhibits strong attention to detail, follow-through, and time management. 4. Capable of working independently while adhering to structured processes and SOPs. 5. Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Slack, and similar tools required. 6. Willingness to work an 8-hour graveyard shift - PH Time, aligned with U.S. business hours is required. 7. Requires a stable internet connection (Minimum of 100MBPS Download/50MBPS Upload) and reliable computer (Intel Core i5 or equivalent, 8GB RAM min.) with backup. 8. Professional, coachable, and open to feedback and role reassignment. 9. Proven experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. 10. Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (required). 11. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles. 12. High attention to detail and accuracy. 13. Excellent organizational and time management skills. 14. Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
