Accountant

Job Description

Join Porch Group as an Accountant and contribute to our financial accuracy. You will manage general accounting tasks, reconcile balance sheets, and resolve discrepancies. Prepare journal entries, conduct flux analysis, and assist with financial reporting. Collaborate with internal teams to maintain accounting processes and support audit processes. Ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Provide support for ad hoc accounting and reporting requests.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. 2. A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience. 3. Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). 4. Experience with NetSuite and FloQast is a plus. 5. Knowledge of Fixed Assets, Cash, Accruals, Lease Accounting, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Intercompany Accounting, Prepaids, Capitalized Software, and Debt accounting. 6. Proven experience working with US based business teams. 7. Excellent written and communication skills in English language.
