Job Description
Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Account Manager, driving sales of life sciences research consumables and instruments to the academic market. You'll cultivate customer relationships with procurement teams and scientists to secure short, mid, and long-term collaborations. Surpass sales targets on a quarterly and annual basis, identifying and developing new sales opportunities to meet or exceed goals. Prioritize strategic key account development through proactive account planning and cross-functional collaboration. Maintain and strengthen the internal network to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
Qualifications
1. M.A./M.Sc. or equivalent experience; a bachelor’s degree in biology/life science is preferred. 2. Experience in sales within the Life Sciences Market or comparable professional experience. 3. General knowledge of the assigned Biosciences product portfolio and customer segment. 4. Analytical and business planning skills are essential. 5. Excellent time management skills. 6. Strong interpersonal skills to interface with all customer types in person and virtually/via phone. 7. Ability to contribute effectively to a dedicated team. 8. Exhibits a positive demeanor and a strong desire to succeed. 9. Self-motivated to seek out new business opportunities. 10. Adaptable to an evolving business environment. 11. Digital literacy in MS Office package. 12. Valid driving license. 13. Proficiency in German and English, both written and verbal; additional languages like Italian are advantageous.
