Account Manager – Healthcare Markets, PBM
Job Description
The Account Manager role involves building and nurturing relationships with brokers and clients, delivering exceptional daily support. This role serves as a consultant for benefit plan and in-house pharmacy reporting, offering proactive communication and prompt issue resolution. You'll prepare client-requested and standard monthly reports accurately. Understand the client's organization, services, and industry developments. Collaborate across departments, especially during pharmacy implementations, and coordinate benefit plan changes with operations teams. Be the primary contact for HR and in-house pharmacy staff, cultivating strong relationships with service partners. Partner with onboarding teams for new in-house pharmacy clients. Oversee member communication materials, participate in benefit fairs, and perform quality checks on claims and documentation. Assist with benefit plan recommendations, submit change requests, and resolve client issues efficiently. Maintain client data in Salesforce. Prioritize analytical tasks, manage client lifecycle deliverables, and innovate to meet client needs. Achieve team and departmental goals, engage in ongoing education, and uphold a positive image for RxBenefits.
Qualifications
1. An associate's or bachelor's degree is a must. 2. Minimum of 3 years in Account Management or Implementation, ideally within PBM, pharmacy, or healthcare. 3. Experience supporting hospital staff and pharmacies is ideal. 4. High performance with a designated partner is necessary. 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote) is expected. 6. Thorough knowledge of Employee Benefits insurance is a must. 7. Great oral and written communication skills. 8. Analytical and critical thinking capabilities. 9. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills are a must. 10. Ability to interpret industry policies and contracts is crucial. 11. Must be a self-starter and excel independently and in teams.
